What can I expect?
We know meeting for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be a bit nerve racking as well. We want to help make your first experience at our church a great one.
If you chose to come to the first service, Sunday School classes start promptly at 10am ending at 10:45. Upon arrival we can help you and your kids find the correct classes based on age or grade! After first service we have a small intermission for about 10 minutes. We then all meet in the chapel at 11 for our main service. Starting with a few songs led by the worship team, then the main speaker, lastly finishing with a song.
Adult classes and Sunday School start at 10-10:45. Main Service begins at 11:00 am – 12:30pm. If you chose to go to all classes In total, service is about 2 1/2 hours in length. Main Service begins with a song – song lyrics are projected onto the screens
Sunday’s at The River are exciting. Curious about how to dress, Members typically dress business all the way to casual. You can come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – at The River we make this a priority. For security purposes you’ll want to leave yourself a few minutes to get your child checked in to their Sunday School classes, once over you will have to go pick them up from class. If needed we also have a nursery available for infants to play and you can stream the service live from there.
